Marinated Herring with Rice Vinegar and Wakame

4 People Min.
  • 8 salted herrings
  • 1 glass of rice vinegar
  • ½ a glass of olive oil
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 10g wakame
  • Peel the carrot and the onion.
  • Slice them and place in a dish.
  • Cover with the herring, drizzle with vinegar and oil and let marinate for 24 hours (you can add peppercorns, juniper berries, etc).
  • 20 minutes before serving, collect the vinegar from the mixture.
  • Use it to rehydrate the dried seaweed.
  • Place the seaweed in the dish along with the herring. Serve.
