The recipe for pasteli rests on two ancient pillars of Greek gastronomy: sesame and honey. These two ingredients are high in energetic and nutritional value. The fabrication of pasteli demands no technological prowess; a steady hand blends sesame with boiling honey atop cold marble to achieve the perfect crunch and caramel taste. There are many kinds of pasteli, from the crunchiest to the most supple (melato). We’ve selected a tragano, rich in sesame and super-crunchy.
